Hi Guys!!

Currently, because of the influenza I went to Guanajuato, Guanajuato, schools were out so I said " come on, I got to do something, I won't stay at home."

It's a beatiful town, one of the most historical in our Country I think.

Born of silver:Founded by the Spaniards at the beginning of the 16th century, the city of Guanajuato, capital of the state of the same name, situated in the centre of Mexico, soon became the silver-mining centre of the world.

Born of the mines, Guanajuato has always lived in a kind of symbiosis with them: the organisation of the streets, most of all, the colourful “underground streets”, the building of sumptuous churches such as the one belonging to the Jesuits and the Valenciana, among the most beautiful examples of baroque architecture in Latin America, the construction of numerous dams and hydraulic installations, the drilling of mineshafts, the most striking of which, La Boca del Infierno, goes 600 metres underground, are intimately bound up with its industrial history.

Guanajuato, a city named "Cultural Heritage of Humanity" by UNESCO in 1988, for the magnificent colonial buildings that make up its architecture, has an atmosphere that takes us back to the past. Cultural manifestations surge out of its theatres, churches and museums, squares, markets and side streets. Hundred-year-old buildings where heroic battles were fought and immortal romances live on in legend. Balconies and facades that saw the passage of figures like Hidalgo, Allende, Juárez, Maximilian and Porfirio Díaz. In the pre-Hispanic period the territory now occupied by the city of Guanajuato was chiefly inhabited by nomadic tribes generically known as Chichimecas (Pames, Guamares, Guanaxuas, etc.,) who lived by hunting and gathering

So i recommend you to visit Guanajuato it is nice, you are going to have a great time. :)

Letter....... ♥
Dear Mom:I’m feeling a little sad knowing that you and dad are some kind of depressed, but I can assure you that I’m fine, I just find a new job and I like it, I’m the assistant of the manager in a Hotel that’s nearby to my house. I think is the perfect job for me right now, so I won’t need you to keep sending money for me. And thanks any ways to try to find me a workplace in there, but I won’t need it.Well I’m glad that Pete Dove is doing great, but being honest I don’t remember him. Did we use to go the high school together? By the way I’m seeing a boy, he used to have some classes with me in College and now we’re dating. His name is Robert and we’re doing great. I hope you can meet him in the next holidays. That’s all for now, I love you mom. I hope see you soon. Give my best to dad.LoveJulia.

Let´s Talk about something important recently. Influenza.

I got this from the World Health Organization. (WHO)

4 May 2009 -- As of 18:00 GMT, 4 May 2009, 21 countries have officially reported 1085 cases of influenza A (H1N1) infection.

Mexico has reported 590 laboratory confirmed human cases of infection, including 25 deaths.

The United States has reported 286 laboratory confirmed human cases, including one death.

The following countries have reported laboratory confirmed cases with no deaths - Austria (1), Canada (101), China, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (1), Costa Rica (1), Colombia (1), Denmark (1), El Salvador (2), France (4), Germany (8), Ireland (1), Israel (4), Italy (2), Netherlands (1), New Zealand (6), Portugal (1), Republic of Korea (1), Spain (54), Switzerland (1) and the United Kingdom (18).

It is considered prudent for people who are ill to delay international travel and for people developing symptoms following international travel to seek medical attention, in line with guidance from national authorities. Individuals are advised to wash hands thoroughly with soap and water on a regular basis and should seek medical attention if they develop any symptoms of influenza-like illness.

WHO advises no restriction of regular travel or closure of borders.

There is no risk of infection from this virus from consumption of well-cooked pork and pork products.
Further information on the situation will be available on the WHO website on a regular basis.

Movie Review. Remember the Titans.

This is one of my favorites :)
Without a question mark, the film's title is an instruction and not an inquiry. Dealing with the issue of racial integration within a high school football team in the seventies, it's clearly meant as a warning. What follows is two hours of unabashed manipulation aimed less at impassioning racial harmony than leaving the audience with a lump in their throat and a tear in their eye.

Remember The Titans is based on the true story of an African American football coach hired by a Virginia high school in 1971. Denzel Washington plays the dictatorial Coach Herman Boone who arrives at T.C. Williams High School facing the unenviable job of replacing the successful and beloved Coach Bill Yoast (Patton) and of coaching the Titans during its first year of integration.
Neither man is happy with the situation, particularly Yoast who now finds himself under Boone, but their discontent is minimal compared to the resentment felt by his players who now find their positions under threat from the new black students who themselves aren't exactly thrilled by the situation.

The tension between both factions erupts during training camp when the old team leader Gerry Bertier (Hurst) squares off against Big Julius Campbell. Following the brawl, both men form a close bond and when Coach Boone forces each player to ask questions of and get to know each other, the hostility is replaced by understanding and tolerance. It's a feeling not so readily shared by the other citizens of Alexandria, the predominantly white town in which the school is located.

By paralleling the team's fortunes with the issue of integration you cheer for the Titans' success on the field as you cheer for their unity off it. Although based on a true story, it's hard not to think that director Boaz Yoakin and writer Gregory Allen Howard have played liberally with its authenticity in their shameless quest to rouse emotions. Everything is rousing, from the impassioned speeches, including Boone's own Gettysburg address, to the music. Indeed, at times you wonder whether they were tempted to make a musical as the players launch into impromptu singalongs at the drop of a helmet.

The players are plucked from a well-worn selection of clichés, from the blond Californian quarterback, through the obligatory fat person who is the source of ridicule. Despite the token characterisation, as with any sporting film it's not about the individuals. It's about the team. And inevitably, as with most sporting films, the result is never in doubt.

Remember The Titans may be corny and predictable, but it succeeds on its own terms. It doesn't purport to be some lofty racial polemic, it simply deals with the issue on a provincial level. And at the heart is another convincing display by Denzel Washington who as ever is able to imbue his character and the film with dignity and integrity.

Back Pain.

Back pain (also known "dorsalgia") is pain felt in the back that usually originates from the muscles, nerves, bones, joints or other structures in the spine.
The pain can often be divided into
neck pain, upper back pain, lower back pain or tailbone pain. It may have a sudden onset or can be a chronic pain; it can be constant or intermittent, stay in one place or radiate to other areas. It may be a dull ache, or a sharp or piercing or burning sensation. The pain may be felt in the neck (and might radiate into the arm and hand), in the upper back, or in the low back, (and might radiate into the leg or foot), and may include symptoms other than pain, such as weakness, numbness or tingling.

Back pain is one of humanity's most frequent complaints. In the U.S., acute low back pain (also called lumbago) is the fifth most common reason for physician visits. About nine out of ten adults experience back pain at some point in their life, and five out of ten working adults have back pain every year.
The spine is a complex interconnecting network of nerves, joints, muscles, tendons and ligaments, and all are capable of producing pain. Large nerves that originate in the spine and go to the legs and arms can make pain radiate to the extremities.

Short-term relief
Heat therapy is useful for back spasms or other conditions. A meta-analysis of studies by the Cochrane Collaboration concluded that heat therapy can reduce symptoms of acute and sub-acute low-back pain. Some patients find that moist heat works best (e.g. a hot bath or whirlpool) or continuous low-level heat (e.g. a heat wrap that stays warm for 4 to 6 hours). Cold compression therapy (e.g. ice or cold pack application) may be effective at relieving back pain in some cases.

Use of medications, such as muscle relaxants, opioids, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs/NSAIAs) or paracetamol (acetaminophen). A meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials by the Cochrane Collaboration found that injection therapy, usually with corticosteroids, does not appear to help regardless of whether the injection is facet joint, epidural or a local injection. Accordingly, a study of intramuscular corticosteroids found no benefit.

Massage therapy, especially from an experienced therapist, can provide short term relief. Acupressure or pressure point massage may be more beneficial than classic (Swedish) massage.

It's Joke Time!

Hey guys, like everyday I got a joke, well actually a few jokes. haha I hope you like them alright?

A man bought a new hearing aid and was telling a friend how much he liked it. "It's the best hearing aid I've ever had," he said."I can hear so well, I don't miss a thing. It's wonderful." His friend said,"What kind is it?" The man said,"A quarter to five."

Good one, right?

Another one...

Once there were three men, Dave, John, and Sam, who were involved in a tragic car accident in which all three died. As they stood at the gates of heaven St. Peter came up to them and said, "You will all be given a method of transportation for your eternal use around heaven. You will be judged on your past deeds, and will have your transport chosen accordingly." St. Peter looked at Dave and said, "You, Dave, were a bad man. You cheated on your wife four times! For this, you will drive around Heaven in an old beat up Dodge." Next St. Peter looked at John and said, "You, were not so evil, but you still cheated on your wife two times. For this, you will forever travel around heaven in a Toyota stationwagon." St. Peter finally looked at Sam, and said, "You, Sam, have set a fine example. You did not have sex until after marriage, and you never cheated on your wife! For this, you will forever travel through heaven in a Ferrari." A short time later, Jon and Dave pulled up in their cars next to Sam's Ferrari and there he is, sitting on the hood, head in hands, crying. "What's wrong, Sam?" they asked. "You got the Ferrari! You are set forever! Why so down?" Sam looked up, ever so slowly opened his mouth and cried, "I just saw my wife go by on a skate board."

Another one?? Okey there you go!
People from New York are called New Yorkers. Are people from Hamburg called Hamburgers?
That one is hilarious!

Ok that's it for today tomorrow i'll bring you more jokes! Bye!
